I guess I should tell you a bit about how I got here.
Let's start at the beginning...

I did 2 years in IT sales at IBM.
I got to be super curious, and by doing that, I solved my clients problems. I used a lot of my analytical skills on the job as well which I enjoyed.

But... I was also doing creative side projects at work
I was my floors resident graphic designer / video editor / the all around creative go to person
... which got me a gig designing an app using agile methodology for the CIO and CFO >
... which got me a gig facilitating design-thinking workshops (which I used to sell to my clients)

HOWEVER... a bit of a CONFLICT BETWEEN MY ANALYTICAL and creative brain was happening
While I always would hit that all important sales target, I was enjoying the side projects a lot more than my actual job. I would spend my free time reading up on UX literature, speaking to UX people and being that annoying person at every opportunity asking "how can we UX this make this better."

So, I decided to bite the bullet, make a career change and actually learn this stuff >

... what better way to start my new adventure then to travel the world
So I did that for about 9 months. I’ve always had itchy feet >

As per my plan, I left #eatpraylove life to join study UX design.
It’s been mind blowing amazing to use all of these elements of my brain to create things. The more I learnt about this stuff the more that all these pieces of the puzzle came together. The reason I never got into a creative profession from the start is because I could never see the reasoning behind creative things that I was making. Little did I know back then, there would be a profession out there that I could use my nerdy analytical side and my colourful creative side.

Now enough about me talking about me and please take a look at my work >
